Need to Know

No drinking water available.

Pennask Lake lies approximately 50km northwest of Peachland, accessible via the Coquihalla Connector (Highway 97C). However, reaching the user-maintained campsite entails navigating 19km of forest service roads, markedly different from standard paved routes and unsuitable for most recreational vehicles.

Travelers are advised to proceed with caution, as these roads pose varying degrees of challenge. The final 7km, in particular, are notably rugged. Negotiating this terrain necessitates a 4WD vehicle with ample clearance, and the journey typically spans 35 to 45 minutes for most vehicles.

Especially in early seasons or following heavy rainfall, travelers should anticipate encountering substantial puddles, some stretching up to 12 meters long and nearly a meter deep.
