Hi I’m Sarah Adkin - a street photographer drawn to fleeting light, quiet tension, and the poetry of everyday life.

My work captures what most people overlook: the in-between moments, the unspoken stories, and the way a single frame can hold both stillness and movement.

I have a deep love for capturing the vibe of the city I live in and the character of the spaces that surround it - from cracked sidewalks and moody alleyways to golden-hour reflections on quiet lake roads. The light here has a pulse. The stories live in the corners. Whether it’s a stranger lost in thought at a crosswalk or the subtle geometry of downtown, or the places forgotten, I'm always looking for the beauty that hides in plain sight.

My lens is intuitive, honest, and quietly present. I don’t chase perfection. I wait for presence.
