Canada Day-West Kelowna
Event Details
Canada Day in West Kelowna kicks off a weekend of festivities and community events. The celebrations begin on Friday, June 28, with Ben Klick headlining the first free Music in the Park concert of the summer at Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre, running from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. This weekly concert series continues Fridays until August 23, with a brief pause on July 12 for Westside Daze concerts.
On Saturday, June 29, the community will celebrate the opening of the new City Hall/Library Building with free festivities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., including a barbecue, kids' activities, and live music. The same day, Westside Multiculturalism Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring cultural displays, performances, and family-friendly activities.
The highlight, Canada Day on Monday, July 1, includes concerts, cupcakes, and a full day of free fun at Annette Beaudreau Amphitheatre. While fireworks are not planned for July 1, a Westside Daze Drone Show will be held on July 13.
Visitors can also enjoy activities throughout the weekend, including hiking, wine tasting, paddleboarding, and exploring local parks, trails, and farm loops.
