The 49th annual Kelowna Folkfest will take place on Canada Day, July 1, at Prospera Place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. This family-friendly indoor event offers free admission or entry by donation. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, a variety of ethnic food booths representing countries like China, India, Israel, Japan, Hungary, the Philippines, and Vietnam, as well as a ceremonial cake-cutting at 12:30 p.m. Founded in 1974, Kelowna Folkfest celebrates cultural diversity through music, food, and traditions.
